If you find yourself repeating
the same movements again and again
do them more and
get really interested

Counselling in short
Our personality and attitudes towards life are largely shaped by the way we were met as young people by parents, family members, peers and teachers. These experiences create a baseline for the way we as adults feel welcome, can be content, trust others, surrender and maintain the balance between giving and receiving.
Problems with behaviour and relationships in the present, often have their roots in the past. In an attempt not to repeat an unpleasant experience, we often unconsciously put a part of ourselves (sometimes excessively loudly) in the foreground and actually withdraw other aspects. This 'solution' can at some point of life exactly disbalance us and stops us fromcaarying life forward.
Personal coaching supports you with the right questions, experience-focused interventions and (self)reflection. Seeing through your own patterns and developing a certain level of compassion allows you to shift them step by step. Developmental psychology, transactional analysis, choice theory, systemic work, the character structures and my experience as a trauma practitioner create a structure that support in finding your own insights.
Present
Nothing has broken or gone wrong, everything you are looking for is already present. The “work” is to find the way back to some areas that have been cut off. Getting stuck on life's path is nothing more than a sign that something that has long served you in silence is ready to step out of the shadows into the light. With more understanding of who we are now, the past can take on a different meaning and a space to live in the present with more trust, connection and fulfilment emerges.

Facilitation Trajectory
A typical facilitation trajectory has three phases. In the first phase, we get to know each other and reflect on the question that will guide the way, but there is also a focus on relevant episodes from your history, (acquiring) resources and identifying challenges you are experiencing. We explore, so to say, the landscape in which your life's journey has taken shape and how it has led your situation in the present. We also determine in dialogue which area (or 'question') we will focus on.
We then use conversation, experiential methods and (self-) observation to explore which parts of the terrain may be out of focus (shadows), but also where movement, energy and enthusiasm are available or stagnating. This provides you with a more diverse perspective on your current situation and promote the (figurative and literal) space to breath and find movement. In this phase we also explore how (small) changes in your awareness, behaviour and perception affect you and your environment. The terrain becomes more defined, more colourful, and you discover different paths. This is also the phase in which you can feel happy and relieved after a session and touched or unsettled in after another.
Although we always keep your initial question in mind and adjust the course of the sessions accordingly, it often happens that as your experience enriches, your question 'dissolves' into the landscape. This is naturally the moment when further integration into your daily life will strengthen your development. New paths become established as you walk them regularly, and often your view on 'the landscape of your life' changes. Sometimes a new, next question or area to explore also unfolds during this last phase.
